Prior to LegalShield, I was working in international banking. Then I worked as a flight attendant. My husband, Randy, and I were lucky to get one vacation a year with our boys, Carson and Trenton. I was always stressing over our finances. But now I’m a LegalShield Associate!

With God, all things are possible! Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I give God all the glory for my life.

I built my business from home when my boys were 2 and 4. During my calls, I was changing diapers, playing trains and putting puzzles together with my boys. I held private business receptions twice a week in my home until it grew too big for my living room. Then life took a turn. I was told I had breast cancer. I prayed and asked the Lord to guide me, and it was made very clear that I needed to slow down and stop working. I had to refocus and get my priorities in order. God, family and then everything else. I stopped working from 2001 until 2007. It is amazing that even though I wasn’t working, I continued to earn a residual income and overrides. What a blessing. I got back into God’s word and decided to go back into health and fitness. I was training a CEO of a small company three days a week at her office. One afternoon she told me how her identity was stolen. I told her about our IDShield plan and our legal plan. She said, “Sign me up! My mom needs this, my sister needs this and my employees need this.” She asked me to come to the next staff meeting and talk about our services. I called a friend and said, “Give me a presentation because I haven’t done one in years!”

I showed up, presented to 14 employees, and 12 bought both plans. I asked the Lord, “Am I supposed to be doing this again?” The answer was clear. Once my boys were off to college, I started recruiting again, but I was once again diagnosed with breast cancer.

So I put my business to the side again, but by God’s grace and Christ’s healing hand, I was able to work my LegalShield business from the comfort of my recliner, and I finally earned my LegalShield Ring. I could not have achieved this goal without the help from my friends, family and business partners. I am blessed with life. I am blessed to go on a vacation every year with fellow associates. I am blessed to travel and watch my son Trenton pitch for the University of Utah. I am blessed the Performance Club bonus allows me to drive a nice car — one that saved my life. Psalm 91:11 says, “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” I was in a horrible car accident in 2016. My car was totaled. The paramedics and fireman said it saved my life!

This opportunity has allowed Randy and I to spend more quality time together and has allowed us to travel and spend time with our two sons. Life has its challenges, but we don’t quit on life. Challenges make us stronger. LegalShield will have its challenges, and there will be failures. Learn from them. Let them make you smarter and stronger.
